APPLY FOR THE YOUNG SURGEONS AWARD

ESCVS 2016 is searching for the best work from Young Surgeons!

If you are 35 years old or younger and if you would like to enter a competition by presenting your abstract at Special Young Investigator Competition Session, you may gain extra award.

A Young Surgeon Award will be organized in following categories

Cardiac Surgery
Vascular or Endovascular Surgery

What is the Prize

Best papers will be awarded with money award

Cardiac surgery	Vascular surgery
I Prize 750 Euro	I Prize 750 Euro
II Prize 500 Euro	II Prize 500 Euro
III Prize 250 Euro	III Prize 250 Euro

What are the criteria to apply?

Being 35 years old and younger
Have an abstract as an oral presentation
To be registered to the congress

Selection Process

The applicants selected for participation in the competition will have to present personally their own paper during the special Award Session.
The work will be presented in a special session of the congress moderated by the ESCVS EC Members
The work should be presented in English
The Committee will nominate the winner of the prize after reading the abstract and hearing the presentation of the paper during the special session during the Annual Congress.
The decision of the Committee will then be made public and the presentation of the prize winner will take place at the Gala Dinner where the winner will be invited.

How to apply

Submit your paper to ESCVS meeting in Belgrade, 2016
In the first sentence of your abstract write: “I am applying this paper for Young Surgeons Award”
Once your abstract is accepted for oral presentation you will be informed if it is accepted for Award Session as well
